Our client was accused of cheating persons and involved employees of Punjab and Haryana High Court. He was accused by the complainant that he had taken money by making false promises that he will get the brother of the complainant a permanent job in the high court. Allegedly, this was a false promise and he had committed the offense of cheating under section 420 of IPC. Allegedly, he had also created false papers to cheated the complainant. So the police arrested him and put him in jail.
